@hicarsondogss: I was saying goodnight to the dogs before clocking out of my volunteer shift yesterday when I noticed Valentino for the first time. I had never seen him before… and he’s been here since December. It just shows how the quiet, shy dogs can slip through the cracks. They’re not barking for attention or jumping at the kennel door. They’re sitting quietly, hoping someone will see them. Valentino (A5746392) is one of those dogs. He’s a sensitive, gentle boy who can be nervous at first, but he tries. His assessment notes that he warms up with time and becomes more confident once he feels safe. He would do best in an adults only home as the only dog, where he can relax and continue to build trust. He’s currently at the Carson Animal Shelter, and he’s been waiting far too long without anyone noticing he’s there. His time will come to an end soon so it’s really important we get him seen!! 2 years old. 55lbs. Husky. Male. No other dogs recommended (not a requirement) Carson Animal Shelter, Gardena CA.
