I was raised by my grandparents and my single mom. They picked up where she couldn’t. She struggled EVERYDAY and all of her friendships deteriorated and broke off. Her support system was my grandparents and boy did they go to the ends of the Earth to let her and I know that. God bless you, your sweet baby girl, and your friends for stepping up into a role they didn’t plan on stepping into. It takes a village to raise one child, and I’m so happy and so thankful your village is similar to that of mine. The strength you all have is unmatched and she’s going to feel so loved. I’ve always been a huge advocate to ADVOCATE for your friends and those who can’t speak for themselves (anyone really), and to hear this from you affirms to me that there are people who appreciate and covet people like that.
