More than likely, if you’ve hit over 100k and you haven’t refreshed it, ur m54 or m52 could be underperforming 👌💙

I'm currently replacing my valve cover gasket. On YouTube, I almost exclusively see people using special tools. I'm afraid of damaging something. Since I'm already at it, I'd like to replace the VANOS system at the same time. Could you please help me? I drive an M54B22 engine.

I’ve got a 530i it was running on 2 cylinders I change the fuel filter and now it cranks but doesn’t start. I think the fuel tank was empty but I’ve put in 5 litres and it’s the same done an ista scan no codes any ideas?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but you wrote that the Torx screw on the camshaft adjuster doesn't move when you loosen the VANOS adjustment. Shouldn't you then loosen the screw on the right side? I have two camshaft adjusters. I'm a bit confused. Sorry.
