I wouldn’t say that the Tensen have mastered tao. instead, they’ve mastered the art of understanding exactly how to manipulate tao for their personal gain… the humans in hells paradise are infinitely stronger because they naturally produce tao with powerful human emotion and drive. natural tao is pure and constantly evolving with the being’s emotional state. the Tensen use it as an exploitable, extractable energy source to improve their physicality. but physicality, as explored in the series, will not win alone.
