I was told I was having Braxton Hicks in the hospital and the monitors agreed I laughed said you wanna explain why my waters broke then? they laughed said good one qnd checked with the swab bam! baby was born 3 hrs later contractions never picked up still appeared as bh contractions

A very long time ago my doctor told me if you get up and walk around Braxton Hicks contractions will go away. If they don’t you are in labor. I had a lot of Braxton Hicks with my first child.

I had all 3 of my babies via emergency c section. My last pregnancy i gave birth a year ago tomorrow & it was the first time i ever went into labor & i had REAL contractions. I made it 5 cm & i had to be rushed to an emergency c setions. You can go into labor at 34 weeks & even though this is the first time ever feeling contractions, i knew they were real!!!

I went to the er and told them I thought I was having Braxton hicks but wasn’t completely sure if I was just being a baby about it but wanted them to check on my baby to make sure she was okay anyways she came 9 hours later

i had bad back pain in my 34th week. A friend thought they were labor pains but didn't say anything. The following week, the 35th, my water broke and I was told I had back labor. I had to have a c-section the next day 😁

the only way I could tell the difference between Braxton Hicks contractions and actual labor contractions was feeling pain in my uterus (that was the labor contractions for me). Braxton Hicks was a lot of tightening around my stomach. But... with my 2nd baby I thought I was having Braxton Hicks went in for a NST and the doctor confirmed I was in active labor at 35w6d, baby was born the next day.

I've had several doctors tell me my regular contractions were bacon Hicks because I could still walk and talk. I was 3cm dilated at 32w when I had to have him via emergency induction due to preeclampsia
