@courtneyjordan_esq: Stop connecting to free Wi-Fi. That network might be a Pineapple Router sitting in a backpack 20 feet away. It’s called an evil twin. Hackers broadcast a signal with the exact same name as the legitimate Wi-Fi. Your phone sees a familiar name and automatically joins. Once you connect, they become the man in the middle. They can strip your encryption and see your passwords and emails in plain text. Turn off “auto join hotspots” in your settings. Use cellular data.
