These comments must have no teachers in them. Calling home is a last resort and it takes so much of our time that we want to dedicate to literally ANYTHING else. If a student gets a call or a message home, it is absolutely deserved and necessary.

I’m just stopping by to say, as a parent of a child that this woman actually teaches. She is AMAZING!! Not everything is real life yall. If you really knew her, you’ll would consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky and blessed to have miss Whitney as your child’s teacher. Also, she was top pick for most of the KInder parents 👏🏼👏🏼

My school has yondr pouches and a rule that headphones aren’t supposed to be worn unless we’re using them in class. My class was reading and one girl decides to put her head down and her headphones on while scrolling on her phone so I asked for both and she walked out and then came back in and said “I’m not giving you my phone” and walked out again so the dean across the hall from our room got her and took the phone and told me to write her up for defiance and the referral was in as soon as I took them to lunch 😭 she apologized but it was too late. She’s 14 so she knows that her consequences have actions

I find most of these comments wild. If you honestly think she doesnt know what kid has a hard home life and who doesn't shows your ignorance. After personally dropping off food, clothes, and even giving a car at one point to someone in need, I'm certain she doesnt need your approval lol. All it took was a quick look at the profiles of those offended to see they are the ones with the disruptive kids. Yes, she is a pastors wife with a huge heart, and has been the recognized multiple times as one of the highest ranking teachers in our area. Much Love and keep sending notes home lol.😂
