All you can do is reassure her that you are a safe space and if she needs to bring Miracle back, she can. start the fostering process just in case. try to stay in contact with her.

I know you don’t want to involve the authorities and CPS, but if she is thinking about “working it out” with someone who is abusive then it’s a danger to the child and you need to do what’s necessary to keep the child safe. Get the foster paper work started so if anything does happen and she is taken into CPS custody, you can potentially foster/adopt her.

Start going through the process to get your license as a foster care parent. This way, if you need to contact authorities, the child has a possibility of getting placed with you.

My question is, has she tried to spend time with her child before the dad has tried to wheel her back in? If not, to me she doesn’t care about the child’s well-being first and foremost. This is where someone has to draw the line and set some boundaries. This is sad 😢. I wish you and your family the best during this trying process.
