Yo, please start pre-resetting the stations before inserting your card. If you press enter, you’ll be able to enter that amount that you would like to spend so it’s not taking any more money off your card or putting a hold on your card.

tiktok expert here, its usually due to the fact the gas stations do not change there seals on pump or even inspect them, this is why its not stopping.

As someone who works at a gas station, please don’t be mean to the workers over this, it happens and way more often than it should. It can happen like a week after getting it fixed but there is nothing we can physically do to reset it. A technician has to come out (it could be days later) and even then they might need parts/keys/permissions that they’ll have to get and fix it later. You can have them report and escalate it but please keep in mind the machines themselves are the problem.

As a station owner, I hope you let them know. The meter seal is starting to leak. While pumping you are not getting charged anymore but when your not, the high pressure pushes a little past that seal. The owner wouldn't know unless they are told.

Report it to the state, there should be a sticker with information to report it.

I knew I wasn’t tripping when I got gas a few weeks ago. Pump was super slow and once it did start to “fill” the numbers kept going I thought it was possessed or something 😭
