it would be very interesting actually. I'd give them anything from a day to a week with their maybe before sending the men ask their second (or third, fourth, etc.) option. unlike the theory, people preferences change with each passing day. just because your currant maybe was 6th on your list and your second choice asks you out doesn't mean you'll switch. you've got to know n°6 and maybe you'll decide to stay with them instead

There's a Hulu reality show called "Are you my first?" that while but exactly intended I think actually kind of uses this model. The guys get to pick to "save" one woman each elimination and they can choose to say yes or no but it's not permanent until the end.
