If you’re looking for a lighter oil, the @Living Proof, Inc. one is amazing!! I had the same issue with the Amika one and then switched to the living proof and it’s soooo lightweight

This is exactly how I do mine, same curler! My friend gave it to me years ago and I love it. I agree, day 2-3 looks amazing! I usually curl my hair the night before the intended event I’d like it done for

if your curls all end up as one big curl you should try alternating towards your face and away from your face!! looks great though of course ❤️❤️
