Yes!! Slowly consume the book, classics like these aren’t meant to be books you finish in a day or two. I have a whole annotation system and will take the time to look up the history of the time and place of the author writing the book so I can further understand what their mindset and inspiration was. It’s like savoring a dessert rather than swallowing it whole.

Exactly this. Some books aren’t meant to be rushed,they’re meant to be lived in. I like to sit with certain passages, reread them, and let them mirror parts of my own life. Sometimes I even pause and journal what it stirred in me. It’s less about finishing and more about becoming. Like walking through a museum instead of sprinting past the art,you leave changed, not just entertained.

I had moments that I absolutely hate it, because how sufferable was to read it, but when I finished the book I was so mesmerized that I actually thought of starting again right away.
