I don’t think they realize how hard our ppl tried to STAY muslim during early soviet, they were not allowed to pray or partake in any religious acts but they did it anyway in secret not even daring to show their own kids bc they were afraid they were gonna talk ab it outside. Ppl hid their Qurans by digging it in the ground in their yard. I don’t get how our ppl try to hide the fact that yes our ppl are/were muslim. Just bc ur family is wannabe american doesnt mean whole uzbekistan is, we don’t need sotqinchilar among us.
