I don’t know if boohoo is the same but PLT have been automatically adding £1.99 for delivery protection ?!!!! I unticked it, went off the basket for something and forgot to untick it, daylight fucking robbery

Do a chargeback. Suggests they have no cash flow and may go under which makes your gift card worthless anyway. Show the email saying it’s gone back to original payment method for chargeback.

This is illegal, they should be issuing refunds to your original payment method. If you visit the gov website you will see. Don’t let them get away with it. Report them to trading standards.

This happened to me twice, I complained and they said I requested a gift card, I provided evidence I didn’t and they won’t reply to me. I’ve done a charge back request via my bank and they have honoured it
