as a woman it is a red flag when men are too stuck on favorites. like, no I don’t want to hear your top 27 movies of all time. it often stands in for actual dialogue. do other women feel this way?

I think the misunderstanding with some ppl in the comments is that not having a favorite anything is different than not being able to choose a favorite anything. I feel like the difference between “omg I can’t choose there’s so much stuff I like” and “I don’t have a favorite anything” with no other info is huge, but maybe that’s just me

What if what they're upset by is the extravagance of wealthy people showing off with impractical luxurious purchases that serve little to no purpose in the face of the extreme economic disparity between the poor and the ultra wealthy? Like rather than buying a practical car and doing something to make the world better with the extra 200k they could have not spent on a Lamborghini if they bought a Toyota instead?
