@geodude40: Another rarity in Southern California. The Little Blue Heron has found its way to Bolsa Chica. Unlike its name, Juvenile’s are all white with blue tips on their wings in their first year— it can be quite hard to distinguish from Snow Egrets. Not until they are a bit more mature that they start getting their beautiful blue and purplish plumage. Hopefully this one sticks around to see those beautiful color. #photography #bird #birding #birder #birdwatching
