a nurse gave me one task during my wife's emergency C-section. do NOT let her fall asleep. I held my wife's head and I kept her awake as her bloodloss continued. we were lucky. ill never forget her face in that moment.

I started to black out during my c section and all I remember is my husband gently tapping my face telling me not to fall asleep and he was talking about taking our daughter to Japan to see the pretty pink trees

💔 I had a vbac with uterine rupture, I'll never forget telling my husband I loved him and told the nurses to tell my husband my babies and him were perfect and I'll love them forever. One nurse had tears in her eyes as they put me to sleep. I literally made out with my husband in post opt 🤣 probably so disgusting from being intubated but it was still the best moment ever to know I got to see him again and raise our kids together. ❤️so thankful for the surgeons. Hope youre healing 💕💕💕💕 sending you the best

My ex husband has a photo of us with our baby in the hospital after my emergency c section and I don’t remember taking that photo at all. I looked like I wasn’t even there but looking right at the camera smiling.
