Yes I hate people who think the teasing/mean jokes is having a sense of humor. That has never resonated with me and I literally just respond in a neutral tone to it. Still had a traumatic childhood tho lol

My sisters and I never understood why people would do mean jokes at all. Like, you love that person, why would you want to hurt them by saying mean things and then say : it’s just a joke. Now, all four of us are really awkward with offbeat humour/irony and it often ends up in either us being hurt or uncomfortable situations 😌 Our common trauma was caused by our parents though 🥲
