If you want the best 5 days in the Algarve, follow this plan: 1. Stay in Carvoeiro. It’s a cozy beach town with lots of great restaurants and bars. Located about 45 minutes from Faro Airport and right in the centre of the Algarve, making it the perfect base. This is also the town where I grew up 💖 2. Seven Hanging Valleys. You can hike it or simply drive to the viewpoints if you don’t feel like walking. Highlights include Praia da Marinha, Benagil Cave and Alfanzina Lighthouse. 3. Day trip to the West Coast. It’s a 45-minute drive from Carvoeiro. You can either combine beaches like Praia do Amado, Praia da Bordeira and Praia da Arrifana (make sure to stop by @tiraul_arrifana), or head to Odeceixe, where the river meets the ocean. 4. Take a boat, go kayak or SUP. Seeing a place from the water gives you a completely different perspective, and along the way you’ll find beautiful hidden beaches and caves. @carvoeiro_tours @brotherootz.sup 5. Visit a vineyard like @quinta.dos.santos 🍇. You can do a wine or local beer tasting or enjoy their delicious food at the restaurant, or both 😊 6. Explore the nearby beaches like Praia do Vale de Centeanes, Praia do Carvalho, Praia Nova or Praia dos Caneiros. 7. Visit Ferragudo. A small fisherman’s village and the perfect place to spend the evening. 🌺 To eat & drink: make sure to have a dinner in Porches, @rolhawinebar is a great option.
