Taking Cara babies sleep guide saved me and worked with both kids, you usually have to pay for it but I can send you the file if you’d like. It’s quite gentle but you definitely have to stick with it for over a week

I sleep trained both of my babies my first is 2.5 years old and has been sleeping through the night since he was 4 months and my second is 8 months old and has been sleeping through the night since about 4 months old!

Mom of two = just accept it. The more you fight it or try to fix it the more frustrated you will get. There’s nothing you can “do” to make them sleep better imo. As they grow they change and figure it out.

We did Taking Cara Babies and it was the best thing. The first night it was twenty minute of on and off crying. The second night was three minutes and then he has been sleeping through the night.

Gentle Sleep training worked wonders for us. Just stick with it. It was the hardest week of my life hearing our baby cry but she has slept through the night ever since.

Ferber method for literally three days. She stirs sometimes but for the most part they both sleep so good!

We’re in the same boat. Trying to finish Taking Care of Babies whenever we can at night. Haven’t officially started yet either- I think my husband and I are both quietly dreading it for the same reasons 💗

We put baby in his own room around 6 months and did check ins ever three minutes if he was crying. But he didn’t really cry. I think I was waking him up because I would pick him up and nurse him at any sound he made in the night. So as soon as we moved him night sleep and naps fell into place.

I’ve been doing gentle sleep training but she still wakes like 3 hours later and ends up in my bed 🙃 she has been in a “regression” since 12 weeks old and she’s 8 months next week 😩 and teething as well as standing now

I have zero tips. We got my son a floor bed and I slept with him. I’d sneak out in the middle of the night and sleep in my own bed til morning

Taking Cara babies and the Ferber method saved us. Took about 3 days but I’m so grateful we did it. Its fairly gentle and you can modify the times increments based on your comfort 🤍

You basically have to be consistent, or else it is confusing for him and prolongs the training. If you’re using a method you can’t be consistent with then you need a different method. Try the chair method or pick up put down.

We were putting our son into his own room by about 10 months, he was waking up about every 1-2 hrs co sleeping. I never sleep trained, just went in and put him back to sleep when he was crying. He is now sleeping through the night since he was 1. 🥰 (now 2)

We used the Ferber method with our almost 7 month old! It’s so hard but being consistent is the most important part🫶🏼

the biggest thing I found was around limiting daytime sleep! as soon as she started having split nights (waking up and being awake in the middle of the night), we cut her naps. and if she started fighting sleep we knew we needed to extend her wake windows! worked like a charm. all of the programs like tcb said she should be sleeping way more than she actually needed! didn't even need to do intervals or anything because once her daytime sleep was balanced she slept through without issue
