Wait hear me out. Does he work in a secure facility? Or maybe he told her he does? A place where phones aren’t allowed. If so then the email communication makes sense. When I worked in a secure facility email and messenger is how me and lots of others communicated.

So I had a friend who had a boyfriend, but she also had a side dude she can direct her side dude’s text to go to her emails in the cloud and text like if it’s a regular email thread if that makes sense
