Wow, I read the whole thing when I was younger, and never realised there was a " shining". I never understood the title! haha but it was Very Scary!

the part of the book- the BOOK- that haunts my dreams is the end when danny is confronting "jack" and then it turns the croquet mallet to its own face smashing it to bits and mocks danny knowing that the game is up and danny knows jack isn't there anymorw.
