The main branch you are depicting in photos is an academic RESEARCH library. There is a huge LENDING branch of the NYPL directly across the street.

bc it's a research library, the main reading room has long tables with outlets to work on your essay on a laptop. they also have copy machines, so you can make copies of the book pages

that's the prettiest library, and I think it's the oldest building in the system, but it's by no stretch of the imagination the largest.

V for Good Vibes ☁️ :
They have tours and over 56 million artifacts across all branches. This location has the Winnie the Pooh, Charles Dickens’ desk, and a Gutenberg Bible! For February they have a great Black History Month display too!
