As a diabetic, generally I treat all fruit like a dessert. And even then I eat like half of it. As he usually states it is best to eat fruit after a meal with higher fiber and protein. Fruit is also pretty good if you are diabetic and your blood sugar is too low. Stay safe!

i had this question. highest fiber, lowest GCI impact... Raspberries and avocados are the best fruits for high fiber and low glycemic index (GI) impact.
