He’s pretty slick getting that extra charge for the priming me personally I hate doing trim with oil but I’ve done four jobs in the last six months, trim doors, etc. even windows the whites definitely do fade overtime in the oil but in my experience, I’ve been doing repaints since 1994 around the Atlanta area had the company for 21 years but any home that’s seen ran with oil late 80s or early 90s all the doors, windows, etc. are all in better shape. It sucks running oil but in my opinion it’s better than any enamel out there for interiors

I'm in southern CA we cant get oil anymore so now we have hybrids. waterbase paint with alkaloid resin and a urethane. 10 years ago that was three different types of paints. I have been using a company out of Canada Envirolak water based polys rock hard finish water cleanup no ambering over time
