They really don’t like foreigners there. But honestly I don’t blame them. When we went we were on a bus of 60 people and there were probably 100 busses there in a town of 200 people. Just way too much for the town, over tourism.

Visited Kamikochi early on its last day before closing last November. Apparently, there is a ceremony by noon and there is a tons of media present by then. Regardless, its really surreal up close. 😁
