Took my 12 yr old. She breezed through half of it because it was too young for her. I wish there was more for older kids everywhere. Even playground equipment is meant for 12 and under. They are still children until 18. 😩

We ended up visiting on engineer day last year where local engineering college students had 20+ stations spread out throughout the museum to visit. My daughter and I visited every single one of them and it lit a spark in that little girls brain. We spent all day there doing fun projects together. One of my favorite places we’ve ever visited. I think we’ve got a little engineer on our hands! We can’t wait to come back.

This place is soooo big to new comers. definitely take two days if you are bringing a toddler and go midday ( like after lunch ) because it won’t be as busy. The second floor exhibits change but everything else is the same ( for the most part ) since I was a child in the 2000’s. It is extremely fun, but can be a bit overwhelming. Right now they have a paw patrol exhibit on the second floor! Bring snacks and plenty of water! There is soooo much to learn here ! It’s amazing!
