I flew with them to Philippines and it was a really nice experience. They used an Airbus 350 from Luxembourg to China. Very modern plane and new.

Had the exact same experience with China Southern! Even with one ticket number and the same airline, they wouldn't check my bags through to the international flight. Had to re-check everything at the transit airport—such a hassle. Does anyone know why they do this?
