Except Songbird actually left it up to you in the end because she couldn’t handle the guilt of lying/ using V. She didn’t have to tell V, but she did. Meanwhile Takemura would literally take candy from a baby or mug a grandma if it got him back in Arasaka’s good graces

Idk, I think Takemura gets a bad rap. The rooftop convo shows you he's desperate to break free from the Arasakas, but because it's all he's ever known, he thinks it's too late for him. I also think he really comes to care for V, but after he wins Hanako's favor and gets back in good graces in Arasaka, he's forced to let go of any of that. He's definitely a tragic character and a lot more complicated than Placide or the Netwatch guy.

I don't think Takemura didn't care, especially at the end. He just felt that the best chance for V was through Arasaka. Remember the only reason he isn't in a slum is because they inducted him

Nah my boy takemura really did care about V especially if you play the devil ending. His goals were more to help arasaka but he didn’t just throw V off to the side like most of the other characters did

Lowkey I do feel like reed cared a lot due to his own regrets, he’s not like a secret mustache twirler he’s just loyal to the wrong people and it leads to those he cares about getting hurt. I do feel like he does see a lot of songbird in V. Plus I’m doubtful he’s the reason the implants we’re sabatoged in the tower ending

johnny silverhand to be honest... think about it he only cares about taking over v body to destroy araksa towers. There was time that johnny trying to flatline them then bring them back to alive by telling he/her you are wasting time or you moving too slow
