@mr.goalchaser: Did you know Dallas has one of the biggest Korean spas in America? If you have been following us for a while, y’all know I met my wife while living in Korea. She introduced me to the Jjimjilbang style spas and been hooked ever since. Jjimjilbang is a traditional Korean spa that starts in the gender specific locker rooms. Once you enter, you change and shower in what is called the wet room. Inside the wet room you will find open bay showers, various temperature hot tubs, steam rooms, and a sauna. This is also where you can book a traditional Korean body scrub for an additional fee. Yes, you must be completely comfortable being fully nude in the wet area. It is communal style. It is not mandatory to soak, but the showers are located there, so just be prepared and do your research beforehand so you are not caught off guard. Once you leave the wet room, you change into the uniform they provide and head into the main co ed area. This is where the experience really opens up. Ten to twelve different temperature saunas, infrared rooms, a swimming pool, golf simulator room, couple massages, facials, back and foot massages, a pool with a bar, and even outdoor seating. This is easily an all day experience. For about $50, you get access to everything for the entire day. Your wristband acts as your magnetic locker key and charge card for additional services. I have been going to Korean spas over ten 13 years and it is almost always a dope experience. If you have never tried one before, I definitely recommend checking it out.
