Love y’all! But please don’t say you are equal to a nurse. You do SOOOOOOO much but the knowledge base is not the same. That’s OKAY!!!!! You all should not be expected to do all that you do, it isn’t fair. It takes advantage of you and your PAY! You all deserve to work within a safe scope.

So true, being an MA is basically a way for companies to not pay a nurse salary. We get penalized for not being able to afford to go to school for RN.If I would have been able to go to school for RN I definitely would have,but life didn't work out like that for me. We are definitely underpaid for all we do.

Essentially, we are cheap versions of nurses. We work under the doctors license not our own as long as the doctor says we’re good to do it and he’s fine that we do we could do it. We do not get paid enough for all the stuff that we do not even a living wage.

After 13 years, I was burnt out. I now work at home for an oncology office as an operator. Got a GREAT raise and do WAY less, and get to be at home in my pj's 😂
