Hi I’m a 56 year old man. I lost my best friends my soul mate course I’m guilty of not listening. Even though I heard everything she had said and I thought I was listening it turns out that I don’t really know how to listen to somebody properly. I’m in the process of seeing a counsellor and hopefully they can help me to listen properly so I can become a better man for it. Thank you.

This was my biggest revelation, realizing in our argument loop I would always get stuck on intent. And trying to argue, my intent always made her feel invalidated.
