@lifeonfilm.27: “When I was a child, I always felt most comfortable with animals. I knew it very early. I even looked into working at an animal rescue center, but everyone told me not to. They said there was no money in it, and I should do something more practical. So I decided to work in nursing, and then as social worker. I was born here in Kandersteg, but moved to the city for my studies and my job. I learned a lot there, and I don't regret it. But deep down, I always knew I would find my way back to the countryside. When my father died, it became clear that Kantersteg was where I needed to be, so I moved back home. It was around Covid, and I had the opportunity to rent a farm. I had one dog at the time. Then I bought a second dog, then two horses, some chickens, ducks, and later even peacocks. Slowly, my life started to revolve around animals again. When I'm outside, in nature, with my animals, I can truly be myself.
