This dog and family oddly looks like some people that came into one of my jobs AWHILE ( maybe 2 years ago) back but the boyfriend of the daughter was the issue

You tried your best de-escalating, but I feel like you could have asked for everyone to come outside while you take the dog for a walk close to your fenced dogs. Just to give everyone a tiny break from the back and forth.

I feel like this mom’s intentions were in the right place. Delivery was wrong. Going to the bathroom once is cruel, at that point Julie should have said I will take him at more. Their communication dynamic is so broken. The only person who suffered was this dog.

it’s not my place to assume everything about this family, but i can observe their dynamic and mention what i noticed. with all due respect, the biggest issue i see in this clip is that the mother has 1. has previously had to repeat her issues multiple times and/or 2. keeps things to herself until other issues are brought up. #2 doesn’t solve anything, it only makes things worse and one sided causes resentment + miscommunication, there’s a lot of interrupting going on as well because both parties have something to say, but won’t let the other speak. i see that mom comes from a place of being listened to by her daughter, but when her daughter communicates back she doesn’t feel heard or understood by mom. it appears mom goes into defense mode and points fingers because she feels she has to correct things her way instead of communicating to meet others in the middle.

I dont teain dogs anymore because of the owners were too much. Its always 80% owner training, 20% dog. Board and train is great but they often dont follow through. Great words spoken, blunt, but extremely true.

I have so many things I like to say but I won't cause it's the entire family that's the issue. I think uno would have succeeded if they all given the chance. did I read correctly, the mother was giving him drugs and needed to detox? what type? this is such a sad story. they failed him.
