Lower belly? Or lower abs? In terms of weight loss, there isn’t a single exercise that directly targets belly fat. Obviously, fat is fat and with enough time and work it will burn off, but for a lot of people, belly fat is the absolute last to go.

That is adding resistance to your glutes, not your abs. In fact, having some pull on the bottom on the feet will make the ab work easier.
