My Mom used that type of washer. I think she used the same soapy water for multiple loads, finishing with my Dad's filthy work clothes (he was a mechanic). The rinse water was a double set of tubs set to the side.

Gsw and Kenmore made the same model and they were crap, plastic Wringer control snapped off And, start switch always shorted out. The old Viking Wringer you have is a much better machine, well made and solid

I remember my grandma still using one of them!! also went down a tripper a couple years back at Heritage Park in Calgary. They had a demonstration so I took a video of it of a two-stroke gas powered one of these never saw one of them before.
