Brian, when the suspect walks up to the Nest cam, he turns around to pick up some greenery from the yard to cover it. As he grabs the greenery, he looks briefly to the left. He then taps his hand and returns to the camera to position the greenery. At first, it seemed like he might have been spooked, but on closer review, the hand tap and glance appear deliberate, possibly some type of signal.

In the footage they released it almost looks like the guy is talking to someone as he's bending down to get the flowers- at least that's what I thought when I first saw it

FBI and PD are useless without a narc. Whether it be a camera or a person. The CSI stuff we see on TV isn't real. Unfortunately, this is over unless someone comes forward. In 2026 we still dont have enough technology to find an 84 year old woman with a pacemaker.

Of course there's more than one person involved. The fact that they're even saying this three weeks later is disturbing. I'm worried for Nancy Guthrie not only from what her kidnappers may do or have done, but I'm almost more worried about the authorities in charge of finding her.

There are still comments claiming that it's suspicious that the family/community isn't doing a "search". Searches are for people who have wandered off and got lost and/or were murdered and their body is lost. This is a search and rescue case, not a search and recovery case. They clearly don't believe she is just lost on terrain somewhere. They are treating this as though she is still living and captured.
