Tarver was very good. Roy just depended on his speed and quickness. So those days of leaving your hands lower at your side, was over at age 34. Trainers should have had him develop better defensive technique when he hit 30 years old. But during his time, no one was better, cat like reflexes.

Antonio Tarver. Very good fighter. Maintained a very high guard that Roy Jones could not effectively penetrate. Effective counter punching. Jones. Excellent fighter. Relied on reflexes and athleticism over orthodox skills. Low guard. It was just a matter of time.
