A comrade stood at the front, shouting encouragements and a reminder our wives, children waiting for our arrival back home. With the last speech rolling out of his tongue. We charged into the battlefield. Screams of my comrade's filling my ear as a gunshot whizzed past me with a ear-piercing whistle of the air. i didn't get a second of break as the bullet's continue it's relentless assault against us. one struck me but I stood my ground and continue to charge at the enemies with determination. i fell into our trench and run through a maze of wooden walls surrounding me. i encounter an enemy alongside with my comrade's with our sabre's swinging, cutting through the air and flesh as gore splayed everywhere. i run past the fallen opposed soldier but before I could react— a grenade landed onto the ground in front of me before going off with a loud boom, sending me flying back and hitting against the wall hard. breaking my bones with a sickening crack. i was unable to move or fight anymore as my vision blur's, Each breathe I took was agonizing, my heartbeat fading slowly until darkness engulfed me. Death putting me to rest and ending the war. Permanently. "Only the dead have seen the end of war." . I hope that narration was good 👀👀
