i always say we truly don’t deserve dogs!!! They’re one of the best animals there every was, i have a goldendoodle and she is my lifeline, she has been with me through my tears, laughs, she has built me to who i am and i could never thank her enough. She truly is my hero and i will forever be greatful for her!! i feel you and lucky have/will have a similar relationship, you will build each other, lean on each other, teach each other and most importantly love each other! She is so lucky to have you !

My friend on a road trip from northern cal to MT to visit her BF found of cattle dog stranded on I-90 middle of nowhere. I told her she saved him & he’s the best boy… kinda like your story. You saved her, the best girl ❤️
