@missfernandez__: The poplin cotton button down is one of my favourite shirts to tuck in because the fabric is crisp, has stretch, and holds its shape. With raw denim (where there's space), I started with the pants all the way down and used the palm of my hand to press the shirt flush to the body as I pulled the pants up. The fabric holds its shape, so it stays neat. To tidy it, I pinched and pulled the shirt upwards to blouse it, then pulled the fabric to the sides to reduce creases. I also adjusted the collar by pulling it up and backwards. With stretch denim (tighter fit), I had to pull the pants past the shirt and use my palm to press the shirt down as the pants came up. The thicker the fabric and the tighter the pants, the more often you need to do this... but the shirt's quality makes it manageable. To tidy, I pulled the shirt up and out to blouse it, then pulled the fabric apart to remove creases. I opened the collar for a deep V plunge, which is my preferred style. With the dress pants (lighter weight), I kept the shirt inside from the start. Palm to body, flattening as I pulled the pants up. To tidy, I lifted the collar and pulled to reduce folds until I reached the desired style. Next up: tucking an oversized linen shirt with no stretch and more fabric!
