By the way they predicted that it would take 70,000 satellites to create the Kessler syndrome that would cut off humanity from space for thousands of years. we already have 12,000 active satellites and another 36,000 decommissioned satellites in orbit. When we hit 100k satellites the Kessler syndrome chain effect can eliminate all satellites in as little as 5 days.
