@ukpolicechasesandcrime: Masked men smashed into Alex John Jewellers on Weston Road (near the High Street) with sledgehammers and other tools around 10:15am on Monday, Feb 16, causing major damage. The public were quick alert police. Suspects fled in a vehicle but were quickly tracked and stopped in Bedfordshire. Two men charged: Leon Roper (47, Birmingham) and Nathaniel White (39, Birmingham) with attempted burglary and violent disorder. They appeared in court.
