@vamppuppii: A very cool whale fall omg :0 a whale fall is the carcass of a whale that has sunk to the ocean floor, as it decomposes it creates a thriving multi-stage ecosystem and it provides a massive food source for deep sea organisms and it lasts decades by supporting scavengers, crustaceans, and bacteria that break down tissues and bones. Some of the creatures in this video are a lot of octopus and some bone eating worms which is what looks like the ground is fuzzy but those are actually worms!
