I got a handicap placard to use for my disabled dad. Only time it’s used is when he’s along for the ride to appointments and the store. When he’s not with me I take the placard down cause I don’t need it when it’s just me

I agree people should be ticketed that don't have a handicap tag. But to say people don't "look" handicap is wrong. I don't have a wheelchair or crutches and I have a handicap plate. Don't judge what you don't know.

Maybe they should remove the spot for the cop that parks now right beside the handicap. There’s no reason why he can’t park down further and walk into the store when he’s called so Walmart and a lot of other stores made a special parking spot for a cop to park instead of a handicap person now that needs to be an issue

So I am perfectly healthy, physically healthy, but I need a handicap spot. Why is that? I’m allergic to the sun so just because I looked perfectly fine. Why can’t I get the spot closest to the store because I’m allergic to the sun

I have severe muscular and neurological issues. Outwardly I look fine. Why do I need to show other people my issues? My doctors and the state have all the proof they need. People need to mind their own business

My mom has a lot of physical disabilities, but she’s not in a wheelchair she can walk around. She either uses a cane or a walker most of the time or even training our dog to be a care dog for my mom, but because someone doesn’t look like they have physical disabilities or doesn’t look like they have disabilities does not mean that they do not have disabilities.

yep my mom gets a 400$ ticket because she grabbed my dad's blue tag instead of hers. and they made her pay even when she brought hers to court to prove she has one and just grabbed the wrong one.

I know this is the biggest issue in the US too also with people parking on the striped line neck to handicap. I have a mobility issues, but I have problems moving around getting in and out of my car so this is a big issue at one time I had to ask a stranger to move my car cause I could not get in it

my spouse looks normal when walking but POTS is a bad condition which means they could faint. they don't drive but have one i only park in a spot if they get out if not I don't use it

You don't have to be in a wheelchair to have a disability. there's people out there that can still walk but not walk that Well, that also get approved for hang tags are handicapped plates. but it's a shame that we have people who abuse the system who don't need it.And uses someone else's hand tag or parks in a handicapped spot when they should not be.

I had a lady tell me I was to young and accused me of driving some else car. I said thanks for the compliment but I'm a 55 year old disabled veteran she just turned and walked away when she saw my cane.🤣🤣🤣

As a handicap person, I fully support this. I hate it when people who are NOT DISABLED park there. My car has a handicap plate on it. My wife only parks in those spots when im in the car.

I am working on getting my plaques because of my medical and mobility issues. I don't need it everyday. but when I go to certain places or events or on my bad days. I would benefit from the closer places. on my bad days, I can either pass out or fall or lose the ability to walk a long distance overtime.
