They try to squeeze every last penny out of the consumer. If you want to see what an iphone is capable of in 5 years time. Look at the current samsungs. Iphone 16pro user by the way. The only reason i use apple. Is because andriod OS is utter garbage!

Because people buy the brand. It's a relatively cheap way to appear to have money and look better to your friends. Same as people spend ludicrous amounts on branded clothes to advertise a company but appear to be "fashionable" and have money.

Apple is like 3-5 years behind the competition. My GFs brand new iphone 17 pro takes visibly worse photos than my two year old 30% cheaper Android. plus I got 90w charging. she has 30w or so. and color of her phone started falling off despite her having a case on from start. LOL
