Can we learn to appreciate cultural differences ? Things that we consider normal and necessary in our country doesn’t mean it is the same everywhere. If it works in Japan, so be it - even if it bothers our inner cultural way of doing things.

since theres so many comments abt this: in Japan, children under 6 in a car must travel in a carseat. It's a traffic violation if you dont. However!! Travelling by taxi, bus (like in this video), kindergarten bus, or if the child is injured or it's an emergency, they don't *have* to be in a carseat 🫰

In the uk we are not aloud to leave the hospital with out a car seat, your baby is beautiful congratulations 🥰

We go home next day after birth here in Nova Scotia unless you had a c section or problem with recovery and I preferred that I want to go home and for my first birth, a community nurse comes to your home for follow up check ups
