My experience with Philippine Airlines on my flight from New York City to Manila was unacceptable. One of my checked bags was not loaded onto the aircraft and did not arrive with me. After an exhausting international flight, I was left dealing with the stress of missing luggage instead of simply getting to my destination. What made the situation worse was the poor customer service. The staff handling the issue were not informative and not pleasant. There was no clear explanation, no sense of urgency, and no reassurance about when I would receive my bag. For a major international carrier, this level of baggage handling and customer service is inexcusable. Passengers trust an airline to transport both them and their belongings responsibly. That basic responsibility was not met. Because of this experience, I will never fly with Philippine Airlines again.
