Becoming a TikTok Shop Creator You may become a TikTok Shop creator by applying through TikTok Shop or accepting a Creator Bind invitation from a TikTok Shop seller. Types of Creators There are three types of TikTok Shop creators who each have access to specific TikTok Shop features. Affiliate Creators must: Self-apply to be a TikTok Shop creator. Have a minimum of 1,000 followers Marketing Creator Marketing Creators are creator accounts that are bound to a seller account through a marketing creator bind. Marketing Creators can promote products from the bound TikTok Shop and also have access to the TikTok Shop Product Marketplace. They do not need to have the same account name as their bound TikTok Shop. Marketing Creators must: Be invited to a marketing creator bind by a TikTok Shop Have a minimum of 5,000 followers to access the TikTok Shop Product Marketplace and submit a request for access.
