I’m not even Christian but their something about how he speaks about his god that’s so beautiful. It’s never forced,never pushed, it’s soft and polite to his own experiences. Highkey I hate (and love kinda) that they retconned his origin. Changing him from being part demon takes away from him being a mutant and his story to becoming a monk. But making mystique the dad and changing her ability a bit to gene shifting was really cool too.
